Heated socks

Everyone knows it, cold feet, which is of course very annoying. You try to get rid of it as quickly as possible by putting on warm slippers or putting a blanket over your feet. This is often enough to get rid of the problem. However, there are people who have such cold feet that they let it affect their everyday life. These people often have a condition such as neuropathy or Raynaud’s syndrome. The blood vessels constrict so that the heat no longer reaches the feet properly. For these people, a blanket or warm slippers are often not enough to get rid of their problem.

What often helps these people are heated socks. These socks are powered by a small, powerful battery that activates the heating wires.  As the heating element is located around the entire forefoot, this part is heated first. The heat is then radiated to the rest of the feet, making your entire foot nice and warm. As cold feet often cause a general feeling of coldness in the body, it is important to keep your feet nice and warm. Because the heated socks warm your feet, the rest of your body is also much warmer. Now you no longer have to feel restricted in your daily activities. Even on cold days, the heated socks are an ideal helper to keep your feet at the right temperature. So you can go for a nice walk in the woods, do a bit of cycling or work outside without being hindered.

The heated socks are available in several variants and there are several options when it comes to the battery. The hiking version was developed for people who enjoy walking. This sock comes just above the ankle and therefore goes easily over hiking boots. This is also often the best choice for people who work, as it is very flexible. In addition to the shorter hiking version, there is also the long version of the sock. This comes to just below the knee. The advantage of the long version is that it is perfect for people who wear boots and therefore need the battery a little higher up the leg. Think, for example, of winter sports enthusiasts who wear ski boots, riders who wear riding boots or people who have to wear boots at work.

If you are still unsure which battery you need for your heated socks, you can always contact the experts at BERTSCHAT® for advice. Based on your requirements and intended use, they can advise you on whether the standard 2,600 mAh battery is sufficient or whether an upgrade to the more powerful 3,000 or 3,800 mAh battery is advisable. In addition to advice on heated socks, there are many other products that they can recommend to combat cold feet. For example, there are heated soles or tangle-free slippers. In any case, you won’t have to sit with cold feet this winter thanks to heated socks.
