Thanks to the new installment of NBA 2K21 on the new generation of consoles, we can play with teams from the WNBA. That included top stars such as Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, and Candace Parker. a Particularly, Stewart received the highest of the NBA 2K21WNBA player ratings, mainly because she recently won her second championship and Finals MVP award. Shewasawarded a 95 overall.
After knowing this good news Stewart said to the press: “To be honest I feel great about that. I think that when I was looking at KD’s rating and I knew we were gonna do this, I think his dipped a little bit. So I was like so mine’s gonna go down, but hopefully it goes up.” She wants to push her rating up, specifically to a 96 or 97 by the time the next season is over.
On the other hand, Candace Parker received a rating of 93 overall for the game. She is a former WNBA Champion in 2016 and WNBA Finals MVP. In addition, she was WNBA MVP for two seasons (2008, 2013). She commented about her rating: “I definitely think I have more in the tank to give in my 14th year next season. So, for sure, I definitely think I should be higher, but we’ll see, time is gonna tell.”
We know the ratings of several other WNBA stars. Diana Taurasi, one of the greatest of all time in the league, has a score of 91. Sue Bird was awarded with an 8, and she admitted it sounded a lot like her “high school report card.” In the case of Aja Wilson of the Las, Vegas Aces moved up to a 94 overall for the NBA 2K21 WNBA ratings, been second just behind Breanna Stewart. Wilson said that “You know that’s improvement, I’m grateful for the 94. Like I said, the biggest thing is just improvement from that 89.”
